Re: Welcome to the forum at Quarter Scale Legends
Hi Al, Glad to see that the site is up again. I have only one 1/4 scale car myself as I dedicate a lot of my spare time to the airplane side of RC but I love seeing the projects in progress and some of the custom builds on here. There are definitely some talented folks on this site. Anyway, good luc...

Re: 1/3 Scale Go-Kart
Some of you guys might be wondering what a 1/3 scale go-kart looks like in terms of size. I took these photos of the 1/3 scale go-kart next to a 1/4 scale car (body) next to a 1/4 scale airplane. Enjoy

Re: 1/3 Scale Go-Kart
Did a bit of a cleanup and polish on this thing and started assembly. Installed new engine bearings. I'm not sure how much I will run this thing after the first couple of test runs but it will look cool sitting on a shelf. I still have to repair and install the seat, install the throttle/brake servo...

Re: I've started my 1/4 scale dragster
No worries for cooling as it only runs 3 seconds at a time.LOL. LOL...yeah I guess I wasn't thinking about it that way. The G62 has been an excellent and reliable engine for airplane guys for a lot of years (along with all of the Zenoahs). I have a Zenoah G26 in a 1/4 scale Taylorcraft and a second...

Re: Raco GN project
This is a great looking GN. I have followed Domb1972's build and yours with great admiration for a job well done. I recently purchased a Raco GN from QSL that appears to have been sitting on a shelf for quite some time  The first order of business was to get it running and making sure that ever...

Re: I've started my 1/4 scale dragster
It looks like you're making good progress with it....awesome. Is that G62 an airplane engine? Just wondering what will be involved to adapt it for your purpose? In particular, I was wondering about cooling since you don't have cooling from the prop wash as you would with an airplane. Keep up the goo...

1/3 Scale Go-Kart
Hello Everyone, I bought this 1/3 Scale Go-Kart a couple of years ago and its been sitting ever since. It was made in the 80's by a company called Go-N-Play in Brantford, Ontario and is called the Lil' Zipper Kart. I have all of the parts (although some will need to be replaced) as well as the manua...

Thanks for the welcome guys! I bought the Raco GN that QSL had for sale so at least I feel like I'm headed in the right direction. Nice to see some local guys on here
