I've attached the latest photos of my sprintcar..its rolling! I've built it to the Aussie rules, with a trip across the Tasman in mind next year perhaps.....

Looking good mike, do you have molds for the body and tail tank? and what width is your chassis? I'll try and get some pictures up on my progress tomorrow

I like the look of those disc brakes systems Brian has, could easily adapt to fit my back axle.

Took some photos of my project today just waiting on the wheels and tyres to arrive so I can start building front and rear axles.

I got my pulleys and belts fron Saeco, 5mm pitch teeth. ultimatley a bigger pitch may be better. i,m jigging the chassis as I'm building it, so no worries building more.

the off the shelf ratio is 6:1, and looks sweet, but i will have to do a bit of lightening, these guys can do any size, so once its going i'll increase from 60 to 64 tooth sprocket.
