Re: Ferrari 330 P4
This is truly one of the most impressive large-scale builds I've seen. Your attention to scale and detail is incredible!

RAco indy car drive hub conversion
Hi Guys I have a Raco indy car and I am trying to convert from the stock 4 pin hubs to the more common 6 pin hubs to accommodate aftermarket aluminum wheels. I have the 6 pin knock offs ready to install. I see some Indy cars with aluminum wheels and was wondering how did you make the conversion to t...

NEW ERA PRO STOCK WHEELIE BAR
Hi Guys
Looking for a wheelie bar. Prefer one made for NEM pro-stock but will entertain any available and make my own adaptors to make it fit. I prefer the type of wheelie bar with two wheels as opposed to the bars which go to a single wheel.
Thanks
Chris

Re: RC4WD install.
Then I purchase some SS tubing, 1/2" OD x .049" wall thickness and tapped it over the RC4WD shafts. This is a very snug fit plus I will drill out the drive hub set screws through the 1/2" tube and into the steel RC4WD axles. This will ensure positive drive on the 1/2" tube at all...

Re: RC4WD install.
Then I used the clamping screw to hold all the bearings in place. I am not sure why this clamping screw is there because in the stock RC4WD rear end, this clamping screw doesn't do a thing but it helps me in converting this so I am happy about that. Now with this screw tightened in place, I hold bot...

Re: RC4WD install.
Great work!
Does your rear end still have a functional diff? If so how did you keep both splined output shafts from pulling out of the diff?
I am using C-clips sandwiched between bearings to hold mine.

Re: RC4WD 1/4 scale axle conversion into a sprint car
Next I removed the steering knuckles, uprights and axles from the rear end. Next was to mount the axle. So I have run into my first two issues with the axle. Issue number 1 - The axle tubes are screwed from the inside of the pumpkin cups to hold the bearings which the steel axle shafts spin on. If t...

RC4WD 1/4 scale axle conversion into a sprint car
I recently purchased a 1/4 scale axle which is similar to a skellenger QC from RC4WD and have decided to try and fit the axle into my sprint car. This axle is considerably wider than I had hoped but I do believe it can be converted to fit most applications. I know this conversion would be quite simp...

Re: RC4WD Skellenger Winters Copy Rear End
I don't know if anybody has actually tried to narrow this RC4WD rear end or not but I am in the process of doing it now. Not currently owning a skellenger rear end, I would like to know how wide the RC4WD axle needs to be to fit a sprint car for example. Does anybody have a skellenger QC in a sprint...

Tom was honest, went through every detail he could think to mention. Sent me pictures and Facetimed live footage of the car.
Tom is an easy guy to deal with, everything went smooth.
