Re: Northern Lights
I've got seeing Northern Lights on my bucket list. I think we were in Alaska at the wrong time of year previously. One of these days...love the pics though.

Totally get what you're saying, but I've always liked the idea of t-shirts. I'd buy one (especially if they were purple).QSL wrote:last thing i need to do is invest 1k into t shirts to have 3 guys buy them. Nope, over that now! LOL.

Re: QSL Forum is back!! ****Please read****
Just wanted to say that I'm as relieved as everyone else that the forum is back up. It is touching to see how many people really care. While it was down, I felt like a little part of my family was missing. I don't fiddle around here too often, but enjoy looking around when I can. I'm glad Mike made ...

Re: Wonderful experiences...
I'm often asked if I am from England or Australia, but alas it's just a speech problem. One of these days I'm hoping Mike will take me down under. I could spend weeks listening to that accent. That and I want to ogle a koala bear. We have them in the zoos here, but all they do is sleep. I can't find...

Actually, it's a good thing I've been keeping YOU busy with guns. I sold all those engines in the garage and bought myself more guns.

I know I was supposed to be enthralled by the engines, but I have to say that I LOVE your Australian accent.
I've never seen that many engines in one place. That was mighty impressive!!!!! Thanks for posting the video so we could all see.

What a shame!! I was really looking forward to going and meeting everyone. Thanks for trying. I can imagine how much time and energy it took up. Hopefully it'll work out next year.

Re: new hobby! Loving this one.
LOL!!!!!!! That's really funny.
I had the pleasure of seeing a 12 gauge shotgun up close and personal over the weekend. Yes, it has a lot of kick. I didn't shoot it, but Mike did. Ummmmm...don't want one. I could see maybe a 20 gauge, but I'm too dainty to handle the 12.

Julie in another 30 days............ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APv0U_XaK_E&feature=fvwrel I'm impressed. Not only is that a giant firearm, but the woman didn't hit herself in the head with it. I'm thinking there might be a slight difference in recoil between that beast and a .22LR. Hardly ...

You THINK you'll get to shoot it, but I suspect the kids and I will suck up most of the ammo before you get a chance (like last time). That Beretta is FUN!!!!!!!
