new era steering

Hi all, I have a new era stadium truck. Looking for a piece of brass tubing for the steering. I guess it is for bushing the bolts in the steering bar. I have been all over the little podunk town I live in but no use. I think it's 1/4 in. brass tubing. If anyone knows please let me know.
