Re: New 1/4 scale Turbine powered Jet Dragster.

thats pretty impressive. Looks like it could be really fast. Yeah, although i must admit it's not "quick", it definitely is fast. I believe there is a difference between the two. Quick machines will get off the line nicely, fast machines have a good top end....Now, to have both would be a...

Re: New 1/4 scale Turbine powered Jet Dragster.

Hey Guys,

Took the little jet dragster out for a quick launch test @ ~80% rpm yesterday, also tested a single chute deployment...seemed to work pretty well...Enjoy.

Re: New 1/4 scale Turbine powered Jet Dragster.

That is AWESOME!!! Sounds great, looks great... it's gonna take some nerves of steel to stay in the throttle very long, but it sure will be fun! Excellent job so far. I love it! Hey Mike, Yeah, she's a bit scary when "on the noise", the silly thing is not quick off the line but is stupid ...

Re: Home made Dragster

Hey Mud,

Great work mate, love the little chute too, I might do something similar with mine. Do you know the all-up weight of your car, ready to run?? Mine's a tad over 12kg's.

Cheers,
Smithy.

Re: Rocket dragster

Hey Gents, (and ladies if there are any), I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Brett Smith and I'm the guy who made this little dragster. I live in Sydney, Australia and it is indeed an after-burning turbine powered machine, it is NOT a "rocket" nor a "pulse jet" and I can as...
