newbie looking to build a rail

was thinking of using go kart wheels but the axle and hubs are alot of weight

Beat me to it! I have a reverser in mine. It's just a small electric motor on the third channel that engages the rear tire and backs the car up. (the centrifugal clutch is disengaged at idle, of course). It's a heckuva lot easier to do it this way than trying to engineer a reversing mechanism into ...

hi everyone looking to build a chainsaw powered dragster ,looking for some help here ,was wondering how you can make or put in a reverse in the car if possible.
