Pacesetter Vaporizer / Ormsby dragster
Hey guys I hate to sell this car, but I just don't have time to do anything with it. I bought the car with plans to restore it, and get it running, but I've spent all my extra time working on or racing my real drag car and have not touched this dragster in about a year. I have had the chassis profes...

Re: Pacesetter Funny Car
Ok, this next video shows how to close the flaps, and insert the release calbe, and take out the guide wire. BUT-- This video is of an air launcher type, so the loop that is normally on the back of the spring, is now on the top side of the chute pack. Disregaed that. Yours will use the loop on the b...

Re: Pacesetter Funny Car
Yup.. Chute in first, then the spring. It's the same design as any fuel car today. (All pro stock cars use an air launcher, totally different) Fold the Chute, put it in the pack, then the spring. On the end of the spring, is a loop, and that loop will need a guide wire to pull the loop through the h...

Re: Pacesetter Funny Car
Can you post a pic of the chute and spring?? Is the spring by itself, or is there a teather to the back of the chute??
The spring most likely will go in after the chute. Depending on the pack/spring you may need a loop from the back end of the spring to close the pack properly.

Re: Stripping a lexan body
There is a product made just for this. It's called ELO- Easy Lift Off- Most hobby shops have it. I have never used it, but the guys at my track use it a ton, and say it really works well. They have painted a body, had some bleeds, and used ELO to strip the body back to nothing, started over, and you...
