Emilio, I suspect I'm an one of the luckiest people in our hobby. My Pacesetter, that was only ever started once, but never actually driven, cost me US$400. An unbelievable bargain, that still has me stunned.

One of the giants of our hobby has left us. Sadly it was much earlier in the year, but only announced by his daughter yesterday. RIP Gary DeLara.

Emilio, I wouldn't hack it up and make a midget. Just saying. Restore it to what Jeff intended. In the 20 years I've been collecting pics off the 'net, only about 6 or so of that shape have come up. CALr...Rob's wife is terrific in allowing Rob to display his toys and yes that sprinter is on constant display. Rob has a couple of wonderful toys in his large lounge area. Rob I couldn't find the pic of the big unit under glass, that adds to the ambient light. Post one to show the members.

Terrific package Rob. That trailer has come a long way since I last saw it in your garage. Did you ever discover who made those wheels, you threw on the Delara?

While I was swapping over the wheels/tyres on the Delara, I decided to give the Gilmer a new set. Bulldog rims, shod with Goodyears.

I said in another post that most of my time these days is taken up fulfilling orders for replica slot cars. I belong to a group that races 1/24th scale vintage slot cars ( a lot less politics than 1/4 scale racing). I build cars that are look alikes to the 1 x 1 cars. Here a few examples.
