As many of you know, I have been slowy stepping away from the hobby. Recently I decided to shut down the QSL forum as I just simply don"t have time to give it the attention that it deserves. Well... I received a LOT of great emails offering support and giving thanks for the many years of service. After some emails and phone calls, I have decided to hand the forum over to its members. So here is what has changed...

-Problem users from the past have been banned
-Problem posts have been deleted
-A forum Administrator has been appointed and will remain anonymous.
-A team of Moderators have been appointed and will remain anonymous.
-New registration has been locked until the new management has decided to unlock it.
-Zero Tolerance stance for problem posters. If you need clarification that your posts are questionable, then its probably just best not to post

And that's it!!! Hopefully this forum can remain useful and just a neat place to check in from time to time. It's now in the hands of the members, so take care of it well!!!

Lastly, I want to personally thank EVERYONE here for all the great years and memories. It really has been a great run, I just need to stop living my life for quarterscale. It was starting to consume me. Luckily, I was able to get it to throw me back up LOL. I am still going to be active in the hobby, but I just want to be the guy that posts stuff when he can and keep trading with the great friends I have met over the years.

I went out and raked some leaves this morning, when I got back in I checked into QSL for old times sake and was surprised to see the forum has come to life again. This is a bit of good news .... because I was wondering what to look at each morning with my coffee (other than my unfinished projects)!

wow that's a good day! i was so disapointed when i saw the "forum closed" words on my favorite 1/4scale place!

Glad to see it back and that it will continue, mike I know the feeling of being swallowed up, I have been fiddling wit these cars for 20 plus years, I decide to stop and start stop and start ,but always come back to fiddle wit em. I have met a lot of talented good people on the site . Thanks mike, oh and this is a therapy of sorts for me if I were to take a bean count I WOULD NEED THERAPY!

Funk, Even though we are keeping the team on the down low, they are good guys. They will definately keep the forum moving in the right direction. Not one question about that in my mind.

Great news! This is a great place to learn more about the quarter scale hobby and with the loss of QSL it would have been the last straw holding this scale together.

WOW !! That had me really worried! I only joined about a month ago and the site closed up on me but i have checked regulary and praise the lord its now back!! So thankyou so so much to mike & the new team & the members. This is the best place i have found on the net for shareing my Q scale passion & learning so much even after my 20yrs of Q scale thank you all, life is good!
