John Fosters GREATEST creation yet... hot shot

Post by Mike Casey »

This idea has been on the books for some time now. Many people have done this type of project but not of this caliber. I had the engines, but this is johns brain child. He has had many sleepless nights designing and dreaming of such a machine. Work started a few weeks ago and progress is good. Lots of new techniques were tested with this car. The end result will surely be a car that is talked about for a lifetime. Code name.... "Hot Shot"

More pics to follow as they come!

this turbine runs on a jet fuel / oil mixture. Its quite complicated to setup and run. nothing like the newer units, but it looks soooo neat and the quality is amazing on the engine. I dont know the length yet, but looks to me it will be about the same as a top fuel.

So here are a couple pics with some progress.

Hello John, You sure know how to express the full meaning of the word " Pride." You have created another master piece. Your work is breath taking. I know first hand since I own one of your Top Fuel Dragsters that you delivered to me in person. The best part about the deal was meeting you in person. It was a real treat for me. Do you happen to know if there are any videos floating around on the web?? I would like to know just what others think of there Funny Cars or Dragsters. Would sure like to see them run. Thanks-----Roger, N.M. FxstsTwo@yahoo.com

Roger. I dont think anyone has any videos of my cars running. The guys in NYC have been posting some vidios on QSL lately. I have really been enjoying them. That is what we need more of. Everyone likes to see a vidio. I really enjoyed the pictures of your car. I can not believed you polished the whole car. I figured that someone would do it sometime but you got right to it and it looks great. All the cars that are in the states are being run and that really makes my day. I have no feedback on the out of the country cars. Did you get you car into the parade?

John...I am going to put together a short video soon. Very soon, I hope.

I am having no luck finding an outfit to do graphic wraps that doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Still thinking of options...
