hi bryant,
the vega does look good,i will have to get some info together on the cars diamensions,i would look at doing one of those ,the blower hat is now ready for molding so i will post some pics once the first ones out of the mold.

Mad, let me know if you need help with the measurements on the Vega or Monza bodies.

hi bryant,
just when ever you are ready for the vega measurements,i then can work on the drawings,i want to get the mold finished for the new funny car body,then i can start on the next body,if you guys have some bodys that you think would be popular ,let me know and i can start making a list of a few potential bodies to build,

hi guys,
heres a quick pic of the carbonfiber blower hat,first one,will lay them up a little heavier,its so light i cant weigh it?,but still have to make the front of the hat with the mounts for the vanes,but should look ok when done,

not a problem mike,just means i can use a couple more layers of carbon and the weight wont be a issue,this will make it even stronger,my scales are not small enough to be able to weigh it,haha!
once the rest of the vanes and shaft ,etc are there it will still be very light,great for those speed runs if your building cars for that,my car is going to get bit of a thrashing,thats why im building it,not just to sit on the shelf,mind you i will have a body made just for show,dont want that one skidding on its lid down the track and getting gravel rash!,

started the chassis today,
heres a few pics,the first chassis will be 3/8 steel tube ,once im happy with it i will make a chromoly tube chassis,these scale chassis are neat to build,,

i went down to my local metal tube supplier,we use metric so it is 9.5mm was told its the closest to 3/8 in steel tube it has a 1.2mm sidewall,5.5 meters cost $19.00 nz (approx $14.00 us),im using this for the test chassis,then 3/8 chromoly and 1/4 chromoly for my good chassis,

hi guys,
Its been ages since ive been on here,been dealing with some personal stuff,but finally managed to get the mold made for the funny car,polishing it tomorrow and should have a body out in the next couple of days,will post more pics as they come available,
