Here are some pics of a UMP modoified 1/4 scale ,The builder lives in Odessa ,Texas ,He used to build and race full size UMP modified's ,From what I have heard this thing works like a full scale car ,It has spring buckets on the front plus weight jacks , The pics that I will post are of it with a card board mock up body .no chaissis detail pics yet for view , Robert

For Me just a few hot rod stickers and a number on the side is enough , this car has some newer idea's that go back to the UMP modified's on the sus. ,He plans on offering these cars to the guys that like to race dirt oval's ..Robert

Gotta respect that. It takes a lot of time to build a car. I dont know what its called, but I like how the shock and spring are separated. My Delara GN is like that and its one of the features i love...

When he raced real UMP mod's they called his car after his Last name ,,,Woody,,,, So it sounds like the Woody Modified , This is not his first UMP Modified that he has built ,it's just the first of this scale , With early testing they say when he hits the throttle the left rear raises up and the tire goes under the body just like the real UMP Modified does .that puts more traction to the rear of the chassis and pulls the car hard out of the corners ,He is going to do a video of it ,it should be fun to watch ,Robert

but if the left rear moves forward for rearsteer wouldnt the belt drive come loose?

he is using a belt tensioner that makes up for the belt coming loose

It is,,,,,,,, mastermanwoody@yahoo.com...... This is the only email that I have at this time it is his Sons email but they are working on this project together ,He works at his dads mech shop ,they are a close family business ,,,,,
