This has been a special project on my plate for some time now. Finally got something done on it. Just finished doing a bunch of body work, primered, and made a roll bar. Getting a bit better with my tig welder, but still takes me a bunch of time to do anything!

Mike nice job on the roll bar... Where did you get the lenses for the headlights?

layed down some base coat. Now I need to do the base coat for the stripes and then clear.

Wow Mike, this is really looking great, the more the pic's the better. Man i'm envious, such a magnificent machine to own. Pity there wern't more out there for sale

thanks guys, this is just the start. I have a lot of ideas for it. I hope to clear coat it tonight but its my sons bday so i need to sneak out in the garage between dinner and cake...

He wishes... well actually not. The crazy thing is that he is not into cars at all...

Mike: I'm not into cars either .... but looking at this Conley Cobra might be a turning point for me.

believe me, I definately appreciate this car. It is amazing having it in my home. It has made me a believer...

I just ordered some goodies today for it. If they work out, it should be a VERY nice touch and hopefully a cool tip for others to use. More to come when they show up....

clear coat done, now i need to color sand and polish it. Hope to get it done this weekend.
