Stadium Truck Chassis

Post by Pro Street »

Hello All,

well been a little busy these days but I finished making my copy of the QRS stadium truck chassis,
I used .035 chrome molly for the 3/8" tubing and standard square stock for the base....a friend of mine set me up with a set of New Era trailing-arms...
Not sure if I want to use my US 42 engine or my Petco 354....

looks awesome!!!

Might want to cut off the square tubing in the front and run braces to the center of the chassis. The later versions of that chassis were that way. The older ones were like the one you built. The problem they had was with certain tires and clearance. It would hit that bar, it would also snag on stuff.

Thanks Mike,

I will have to see if anybody has a photo..so I can get a look see of the chassis.....this was a re-pop of the chassis you and I traded sometime ago...

I am going to use quarter scale size tire's, not going for the monster tire look....

still undecided if I want to make this chassis a Pro Street Drag Truck...still kicking it around...
