Your right M.R. Ogle, The wheels/tires are too wide, too lo-profile. Some Cobra front rims might work.

The pictures are great!! Building a Roadster would be a cool project.

MUCH better! Now that looks much more period-correct.

Still can't get over how cool those wheels are, LOL!

The trim piece? either way, looks good out of there, too.

Looking Good!! The triming you did on the cockpit realy helped the look of the body :o . Some 1" LRU rims might look good on your car also.

I was thinking of cutting a set of 3” rims down to 1” or 1.5”. This could be done by cutting a section out and welding or flanging the rim back together :wink:.

I only made 5 sets of 1 inch . Heck u could just lathe them down and make foam tires. Best bet for size too.
