Got her back today and all i can say is *&$*%&*##*&$ this thing is bad ass!!! He did a great job. He also custom fit a jeron fuel filler and added a firewall with footboxes. I dont know if we will paint or keep as is yet. But its fun to look at. Next step is to build the chassis for it. Going to get that going in the next few weeks.

so i am sitting here staring at the body when it comes to me. The conley is a bit too small. Its more like 1/5 scale. So I pull this baby out of the archives.... Hmmmm, very interesting...

Holy Shh It... That is absolutely stunning. Normally I would say with no hesitation paint it... but I can see how that would be a difficult decision in this case.

Also is he going to put wheel wells in the back or leave it as is?

Can't buy a new Conley engine...

I have some ideas. I will put the aurora there for funnies. But it's totally the wrong engine for this car.

The guy that built it spent 200 hours. No special tools or body buck. Just a hammer, vise and rig welder. Damn crazy.

Need to build the frame and interior first. It's tight with seats. So need to get it just right.

You could always get a Luther V8 or even his new V12...

You can refinance the house and get cash out  ... With all the additional tax advantages you could come out ahead... :D

Or just buy another kit car it's a better value...

Well, i have sent the body back out for a couple small tweaks... Also to get a chassis fitted to it and the conley mounted. Hope to have it back in a couple weeks. Then i am sending the engine out to get the intake made.

I just received the coupe project back. The frame is now ready, so its time to send the motor and wheels to john foster to have him work his magic. This car is for sure going to be one of a kind!!! The roll cage is detachable so that it will fit inside the aluminum body. That's why it looks crooked in some pics. Its not adjusted and set into place yet.

Enjoy!!!
