More, and I don't know why it's upside down. It's been one of those days :)

Hey Kaye. I use 2 part pastic epoxy to repair the bodies. Just take a piece of ABS PLASTIC to use as the patch on the inside. Mix up the 2 part epoxy and place it were the damage is. I tape the patch right to the area in question. I also place tape on the outside to keep the paste from seeping thru. 5 minutes late. Tadaaaaaa. Instant fix. You can sand the out side and paint in 30 minutes. No holes. And you will never know it was fixed. You can buy this stuff pretty much anywhere. And the holes you have in there already you can fix the same way. Have a good day

RcBurnout:

Thanks very much for the information about Loctite Epoxy Plastic Bonder. I'll look for this next time I'm at Home Depot. I did buy a similar product a few months ago (Permatex Plastic Welder) which is supposed to bond to ABS. To be honest I became so engrossed with the soldering iron technique that I completely forgot about the Permatex. I'll try it to see if it works. If not I'll try the Loctite.

I made some aluminum tube brackets for the new front spoiler. Just have to mark holes in the spoiler, drill and attach.

Jean: You are lucky to have a new Ford body. They are difficult to find these days.

It's been two and a half months since I've done anything on this project. I've been resting my left arm / shoulder after straining tendons lifting the chassis of this model from the floor to my work surface. It was an awkward lift for me and I'm paying for it :(

Here are some pictures showing the repaired front bumper area and the rear left corner of the body. There's also a picture of my 'insane VW Beetle thing', another work in progress.

Thanks :)

I keep thinking about electric motors, putting one in a 1/4 scale hot rod or dragster but I have no idea where to start. I think you might know about this stuff; if you do I would love to hear all about it.
