Thank god this weekend was not scorching hot!! I was able to spend a lot of time on the car. I built the air cleaner using my vacuum forming machine to make the basic shape. Bonded the top and bottom together and then I cut aluminum and polished it. Really happy with how it came out!!!

happy birthday paul!!!

Here are some shots of this weekends progress. Custom made the exhaust, cut some vinyl for it and made the gaurd that goes behind the cage. The car is coming to completion. Kinda sad to see it just about done... :(

Hey, i have one of these dragsters! I got mine from Paul. Only hold up in the complete from the ground rebuid is to figure out how to mount my Fuji 64 to the existing motor plate and connecting a drive shaft to the Fuji 64 slick unthreaded, drilled, or tapped shaft. (open to all and any suggestions). Will post pics soon. Roger.

Hi Mike, I'am looking at the pic with the Raco gearbox. How is axle assembled it the gearbox? I see the outdrives are there. Is the solid Raco gear assembly being used .Or is the outer axle welded to the outdrives? (which I doubt) .Thanks.

its a straight axle. 1/2" stock. Only thing you need to do to convert a raco rear is the 1/2" axle, larger bearings and a ring gear with hub from a skellenger.

Thanks for the replies.I figured it would be straight axle but why keep the outdrives in place. Oh forget that question .....for the brake disks right.Thanks.
