Gun blue steel parts

Post by cryo-tek »

This is a quick and easy way to clean up or restore the finish on steel parts.

Clean the parts with steel wool or a scotch bright pad. Apply the Super Blue to the parts then rinse with baking soda and water. Buff with steel wool and repeat until you get the finish you want. Apply oil. I found it best to allow the parts to dry thoroughly. You don’t want water trapped in the metal when you apply the oil. I put my parts over the heater vent in my house.

. Look for your self..
