Garage remodel

Post by Mike Casey »

We just purchased two new stores for work and i have been slammed with getting them up and running. I figured... this would be a great time to tear a part the garage and re do it! LOL... Damn i get too many things going at once...

Any way, here is a current shot. I wont even show inside the house. You can barely walk in there. Julie is not so happy but i have been keeping her busy with an ipad that she thinks i got her for a gift... ha (insert evil laugh)

I hope to have this completed by this weekend... well, there i go again

Well, this is what it used to look like years back. And at this time, NOTHING was in the house or storage.

so with all that being said... i am trying to get it kinda like how it used to look BUT with most of the stuff still in there. I am making the third car garage area ALL storage for cars, with no cabinets. Then i am adding cabinets into the main garage and will have a mini machine shop on one side and a work table on the other. Then we will have a lounge in the middle to hang out and watch tv and look at cars. Its gonna be a busy weekend. I am leaving right now to do some work at one of the new stores and then i am going to hit home depot on the way back and get some stuff and get back to work.

Mike If you needed help I could have drove up and assisted in the remodel!!! This way when a car comes up for sale I'm on top of the list :D or when the other projects get done (skellenger rears, PBS rears, wheels) or anything else I'm first...

The miller body is only one of two bodies out there. its in the QRS literature. It was a car he was going to build but there was not enough interest at the time. Its not wicked pretty, but it is a cool piece. Neat to have something that was originally in literature.

Igg, i knew that if i let you help that it would just be a tease. kinda like letting a kid in a candy store and telling him that he cant eat anything...

Here is todays progress...

I like the fact that there's now a Q-Scale "lounge" area... It'll make the QSL videos more like a talk show.

still making slow progress. We finally scored a decent looking leather recliner sofa after a bunch of shopping. Replaced the TV with a larger one and went HD with fios. Also decided to go with a leather office chair for my work bench. Feels good to recline and have a great view!!!! :)

Oh yea, alyssa finished up some paint. Looks a lot cleaner.

Still need to do some air lines and re do the floor. The floor is going to have to wait for a bit as i just dont have the time right now.
