future of 1/4 scale?

Post by Mike Casey »

I find this VERY interesting! It is nice to see that someone has invested this kinda money in this scale. Looks like it will be a hit and hopefully give 1/4 scale the boost it needs!

Hi,
I’m one of the founders of minifastcar. It’s been a long road to get this far; we now have our first permanent track in operation and looking forward to opening our second location soon. We use Danny’s quarterscale cars with our own patented remote control system. We have thrown away the old crystal based remote control systems and developed our IP based one – every car has an embedded computer with sensors and a web server that displays the vehicle status. Soon our control booths will be able to generate the g-forces the car is experiencing for the ultimate in realism.
I have to congratulate your website, I’m a big fan of quarter scale.
I’m open to any questions.

Victor, thanks for posting and thanks for the comments. What you guys are doing is awesome! I really hope that it creates an interest in 1/4 scale again. Is there plans to set up in California? I would love to come check it out.
