Trade show pictures!!!

Post by Mike Casey »

Setup was today for RCX 2012 Long beach. it was a long day. Its not fully setup because we still need the backdrop and banner installed... that will be done early tomorrow morning. If you look closely you will see a special area 51 project in there. Better pics later, but its an amazing machine!!!

:D its right next to the dragster.

I did not want to risk leaving the daytona there. Besides, i am not sure if these guys would appreciate that one? I think we brought a nice selection though.

We are heading out the door now to finish setting up! Plus i have my eye on a spy plane there i need to buy before they are sold out. LOL

Yesterday was a bit slower but the turnout was still excellent. We passed out over 700 fliers. Met a lot of great people as well as interesting people. It was great to see someone to start to walk by and then notice the cars and come to a complete stop and watch the smile grow as they came closer. The conley powered cars were a really good idea to bring.

I was REALLY amazed by the number of people that were familiar with quarterscalelegends.com and also how many people out there still have cars as well as building their own customs! Heck, even a gentleman that worked with Delara when they built cars was there!!!

It was a LOT of hard work to do this show over the past 3 days and not to mention the money out of my pocket to do so. We wont be doing another, but it was a nice experience.

Yea, they were around all weekend. They had a booth there for their clothing line "outlaw".

We also saw them at the longbeach grand prix a couple weeks ago. I think they keep following us :) LOL!

You can see part of jared in the pic on the left, but who cares. LOL.

Nice job at the show Mike. Thanks for what you did.

Side note: let me know next time your going to an Indycar race, a few pit guys you should meet that are avid 1/4 scale racers including one of the new owners of WCM.

I'd expect to see a few more new members on here this week,,, or at least a few more lurkers!

I did RCX several times with AE, and it was always one of the more fun RC industry trade shows, especially when it was at Anaheim.
I know it was probably a lot of fun seeing the enthusiasm for the big cars, but also probably exhausting after answering the "How fast, how much?" questions a hundred times in a row.

Great job spreading the word that Q-Scale is still out there!
