Looks like a nice setup. My only concerns would be a lot of extra weight, draw on your receiver battery, one way bearings wearing out/failing like on the current two speed cars, space for that magic white box and larger battery..................

ok, I changed my mind.

Cool idea though. I like how she says beeeering and pleee-ers though. :)

I think it a lot of weight also. We spend a lot of time and effort to trim ounces, i believe for drag racing it is to much weight. Besides, the starting process is part of the fun with drag cars. Al

I kind of like the idea, but wouldn't use it on a sprint car. But on a truck or road car I think it would be kind of fun.
