I don't know if anybody has actually tried to narrow this RC4WD rear end or not but I am in the process of doing it now.

Not currently owning a skellenger rear end, I would like to know how wide the RC4WD axle needs to be to fit a sprint car for example. Does anybody have a skellenger QC in a sprint car they could measure?

I have disassembled my RC4WD axle and I believe it can be done but I do not know how narrow it needs to be.

Thanks
Chris

Guys you need to do your research. they already have a straight axle conversion kit.

Still too wide for any normal 1/4 scale application, same width remains they just deleted the steerable portion

There isn't much out there for these, and while they are nice (I had one) it would take some really good machining skills to make them usable. Too bad because I loved the differential.
