Removing a SECO rearend from Driveshaft.

Post by PTModIT »

Hi, This being my first time working on this kind of rearend. Does that hole in the driveshaft have a set screw or a pin? I hope it's a set screw. Image. Image.

I didn't realize that the driveshaft pulled out from the clutch assembly. Rear end removed. Next question. There is a diff inside the Skellenger. I took one side of the rear end apart. Seems a bit dry. Should there be some kind of gear oil I can put in? The former owner has a rubber tube attached to the top of the casing.
