I have something I sold him that I THANKFULLY kept. He was supposed to pick it up when he dropped off my car. Its worth 2500 but I believe the car is worth 4k or more... I have tried people that know him and no luck there either...

Mike-
I have worked with David and he seems like a stand up guy. He lives just around the corner from me. If he still has your car and he is not responding to you I feel like that is wrong. It seems like you have been trying to get it back for some time. I have had a hard time contacting him too. I end up just going to his house in person. He has helped me out with a few parts and problems. I appreciate all he has done for me and seeing his shop he is really talented in the rc world. Let me know if I can be of help.
I have enjoyed this site and everyone that is a part of it. The world of rc is so much fun! I'm surprised i'm still married...HA!

Mike not advocating violence of any sort, but here in New York I know of situations where this wouldn't have gotten this far, not even a fraction. is Cali this layed back?

No, however as a responsible gun owner, I would never risk a felony as you lose your firearm rights. In California, if you use too much water, you can be charged with one...
