WORLDS LARGEST COLLECTION
My Friend Olivier in Germany has been collecting cars of all scales for many years. From slot cars to full size cars. He has a custom built building to display his collection and has been working hard the past few years to organize it all. He sent me some new pictures as I asked if it was OK to share a glimpse into this amazing collection...

Re: WORLDS LARGEST COLLECTION
What is more amazing of this amazing collection is, there is a story, personality and geography attached to almost 75% of this collection, I find that as interesting.

Oohhh! Thats where the cars have gone too!! I see a lot of familiars there! Nice!!
Re: WORLDS LARGEST COLLECTION
Really! Even with pictures I still can't imagine.
Re: WORLDS LARGEST COLLECTION
With regards to vintage 1/4 scale, I would estimate he's got 30% to 50% of the world stock. That is nuts. It would take me days just to look at and inspect his collection. Mesmerizing......
Re: WORLDS LARGEST COLLECTION
Wouldn't it be nice to spend a day or 2 in with the cars, The collection is simply awesome, & what a huge effort it would be to produce a story with each car.

Reflecting on this particular collection, it has become even more apparent that the QRS Daytona Coupe is the holy grail of quarter scales. Purely my opinion.

What can one say? I'm speechless.
Thanks for pics Mike.
Thanks for pics Mike.

I would love to see the smaller scales also, like slot cars and others up close. I have a feeling when this opens to the public the new boxed scales like Tamiya can be purchased at a very high price, it seems like a no brainer for Oliver as he owns a good majority of the old new stock scales in Tamiya brands.

Re: WORLDS LARGEST COLLECTION
Don't think the QRS coupe will be making that journey for a while. LOL.
I will see about posting pics of the slot cars and such. What is really amazing is the full size cars, including an original Daytona Coupe that his wife does in fact race!
As for selling. I don't think that will ever happen. He is a true collector with the means to support the collection. Each item, even if its a duplicate, means a lot to him.
