Al Gibson's Delara “Outlaw” Sprint car w/Conley v8

Post by Al Gibson (QSL) »

A serious collector from Northern California contacted me and asked if I would be interested in this Delara “Outlaw” Sprint Car with an early Conley v8. He shipped the car to me to check it out, and then we struck an amazing deal. So, here are the pics of my Delara “Outlaw” Sprint car powered by a Conley v8. This car has all the goodies, Skellenger rear, polished suspension components, a Jacobs Ladder, the amazing Technocrat wheels and an awesome paint job. As far as I can tell the car has never even been started. The steering, brake and throttle servos are installed and connected ready for a battery pack and receiver. It’s Christmas in June baby!!

Beautiful... That might be one of the nicest 1/4 scale sprint cars I've ever seen.

It was cars like this that got me hooked on 1/4 scale 25 years ago.

Thanks for all the great comments, i still cant believe this is my car. I removed the headers and rocker covers to polish them and to "check out" the engine internals. Everything looks pristine!, these are really amazing pieces of art.
