I've noticed that many Raco GN's have black plastic rear swing arms, however mine has aluminum swing arms. Does anyone know at what point Raco switched from aluminum to plastic or vice versa?

3 out of 4 of my grand nationals have them as well. It's an upgrade. Evan my jack rabbits have them. I have many plastic sets. Only 4 left of the aluminum ones. I sold a couple of sets a ways back. Those are hard to come by Kaye so I wouldn't let them go.

I have a lot of sheet metal that came with these grand nationals. Different sets ups for different bodies and such. The grand national truck is the most different. These cars do perform really well and are consistent and reliable

Thanks for the info. I didn't know these were an upgrade. I'll be hanging on to my Raco GN :)
