Raco? & Tube Chassis

Post by PeterRoss »

Recently bought a couple chassis' and misc parts on Craigslist. As I was leaving the seller remarked how some people will buy anything on Craigslist........in this case I was like a kid in a candy store thinking he had robbed the store. I finally had a some type of start in the 1/4 scale world. Very least some parts to measure for duplication in carbon if possible....dreamer here.

I know one is a Raco, the other a tube chassis similar to some I've seen on this site.
The only Raco with similar front end appears to be a trophy truck. Suspension seems set up for dirt oval.
Not sure about the tube frame. There is square tubing forward that appears original but all mounts are set for round mating surfaces. (Composite boatbuilder mixing terms, sorry)

Thanks for looking and any thoughts on what they were/are.

Hi, Yes a Raco. A Grand National going by the early tube side pods. The other could be a WCM or a New Era. That frame has been
modified.
