Re: Help identifying
I remember when i was a very young child my grandmother had a rug like the one pictured.....
Re: Help identifying
Rugs .... Really. OK......Thank you for all your help but I believe this post is dead. I'm not worried about what it is. So I will give this car the proper restoration it deserves just like all my cars receive and in the dommie archives it's goes. Does anyone know why you would cut the bottom of the tank out like some one did here. Airflow????? Maybe Lol.

Re: Help identifying
Thanx Al. Just got some info on the car from 1/4 scale bench talk fro Joesph Dipinto. This is not an Alves car. Good and bad news. Bad news. It's not. But th great news is I'll have creative freedom on the restoration of this Beauty.

What did you expect . I was looking for some info on this car and not once but twice you were off topic. That's ok. Found what I was looking for.
Re: Help identifying
Can you let us know if you get any more info on the rug??
Craig's List..............eBay for people that can't spell.
Re: Help identifying
Look what I found under the dirt, grime and ugly green anodize. The car came with the radius bar/ tension bar set up. So, there going back on it. A little work transforming the coil over shocks so they will suit the new suspension set up Damn I'm gonna pat my self on the back.
Re: Help identifying
Nope. I looked. Now rug in site
Re: Help identifying
Hey Al..... Can you move this thread to projects in progress. Thank you.
Re: Help identifying
Question. Why would you number your shocks. Is it a racer thing. At the end of the piston where the spring holder is attached , they are numbered.
