Gilmer with Bulldogs/GOODYEARS

Post by bobjeffreson »

While I was swapping over the wheels/tyres on the Delara, I decided to give the Gilmer a new set. Bulldog rims, shod with Goodyears.

Bob it certainly changes the whole look of the car. Someone said it wasn't period correct, but it can be argued, neither are Jans wheels he supply's with a Gilmer.
I just think it looks Terrific, and as they say, "if you've got em Flaunt em"

Jan's wheels are much smaller in diameter, the Bulldog wheels are obliviously to large for the Gilmer, I had a set of ricks wheels on my first Gilmer so I know that standard 1/4 scale rims do not do the car justice and vice versa when using Jan's wheels on an Indy car, etcetera. But to each their own.
