If you haven't already seen it, see if you can get yourself a copy of the Australian Street Machine Magazine issue of July-Aug 1988 (Has a twin engined HQ ute on the front cover photographed from back end of the car) . They still come up on eBay. Here is a link to one someone is selling right now......

On pages 146 to 149 of that issue they did a feature on Vic Edelbrock's v8 sprinter. Three of the pages have colour photos of the cars detail, the fourth page has a write up on it (albeit a bit bogan-ish) and a black and white photo. Cadguy might like a copy if you can find a couple.

I can probably scan it, but the first two pages show a large detailed side on pic that spans both pages so it might not come up too well. It would certainly need to be scanned on two pages with my scanner.

See how you go, let me know if you want me to try to scan it. The pics alone are worth having a look at.

You would read about it but my wife tossed out my mint street machine colection as they were a dust colector and i never read them .now i had that issue and didnt know that that was in there and whats even werce is i gave consent to her tossing them out and i now sit and read this post and thinking if only i seen this post yestarday as bins got collected today.Brad
