Last weekend I received some info from the 'States on the last WEN sprintcar built. I had been rescued from Tom Wenzel. I started hunting around, finding out whatever I could find. I discovered that Tecnacraft wheels were used on some of the cars
These adverts came up and I remembered them.
Obviuosly not politically incorrect for their Day....

are there wheels in the photos ??? i didnt see any

i helped design the WEN sprinter... do you own one??? is it the diff, or belt drive??

Here is the last Wen Car Sprinter Tommy Raced.... I have videos, and pictures of it in action.....it is resting on the wall in my shop.....
Tom, and I were building the protype, and after it was complete Tommy decided to build the cars on his own. sometimes greed gets the better part of people, and I would beat Tommy with a stock WCM belt drive sprinter on a weekly basis...
I went on to form GLD Race Cars, and built Grand National Stock Cars.
Now I am now retired from the FDNY, and racing TNT Stock Cars from Terry Rea, at the QSAC NCS races.
In my spare time I collect, and restore the old cars from back in the day...
