Mike, I don't know what type of ignition system you have in the Cobra or what the red line is, but I've had many cars with MSD ignitions and NO rev limiter. My rev limiter has always been my right foot and a close eye on the tach: never a problem. I've had the Corvette for a few months and have hit the rev limiter twice. Today, after work, was the second time. It feels like I hit a deer and then it recovers. Without the rev limiter, I'd be facing a significantly large bill right now. If you don't currently have an ignition system with a rev limiter, you may wish to install one...or not. MSD makes one and I'm sure other's do as well.

Yea, i installed the MSD ignition box with the limiter built in. Glad too, because the couple times i have driven around... the engine revs VERY fast.

I noticed in my challenger that it comes in handy when you are frying the tires. Thats when i get too distracted to pay attention! :)

well, been driving the beast around. Starting to get it tuned very nice! It roasts the tires so fast, it just stands still, does not even drift to the side. :)

Also got a goodie for our NEXT project....

Mike, I actually like the Coupe better. Please tell me you're painting it blue with white stripes...

Does it have the new version of the body with glass rear window? FF is definately a quality outfit.

Yes, its their second gen coupe. Its the newest version. Looks really good. We are going to do a lot of mods on this one. We have billet aluminum front A arms (upper and lower) IRS, Electric power steering, etc. Should be sweet. Its julies so she gets to pic the color combo. She has 3 picked out. One is a dark blue and white (my favorite) but she also likes Satin black / white and red like our cobra with pearl white. time will tell.

We are having a party tomorrow after we go to a car show in the cobra. Should be fun.

No car shows for me yet.
Cold today and 1-2 inches of global warming predicted for tomorrow morning. My car is under cover and I just check the tire pressures and drive it once a week to eliminate flat spots and keep everything oiled.

I spent a week in California back in the 1990's (Valencia) and I honestly saw one puffy cloud the whole time. Other than that, it was clear blue skies - every single day! Crazy!

Of course, I'm happy to endure a little cold weather to pursue life, liberty, and happiness.
