Wheels Through Time Museum - Maggie Valley, NC

Post by c103110 »

You may have heard about Dale Walksler from the TV shows "American Picker" or "What's in the Barn", but the truth is, his finds end up in his museum in Maggie Valley, NC. He has over 300 American built, Pre-War motorcycles that are ready to ride. They all run. He rode 3-4 while I was there today. I took 200 pictures and will upload a few. If there's interest, I can upload more. He has an unbelievable collection of rare bikes. Some are 1 of 1 ever made. I personally like the Board-Racers. Also, some shots of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Wow! Cool pictures. I have an old motor like the one that is on the Henderson in picture 2. The rockers are external and all the cylinders are seperate. Missing some parts though, but very neat.

A few more photos from the museum.
I love these board racers; they're pretty small bikes. They used to ship them from race-to-race in custom crates.
