Baja 5b 1/5 Scale

Post by Al Gibson (QSL) »

Just picked this up for fun, it's a 30.5cc all alloy Baja with polished and custom painted parts. It has 4 wheel hyd disk brakes and looks like it will be fun in the sand. Going through it now putting lock tight on the screws, setting the gas/brake and wheel alignment now. Awesome looking machine. Al

Thanks!, just picked up a set of paddle tires for the beach and a 3 speed transmission. Looking at DDM for a power pipe. Al

I did not build the car, but traded for some things that i had. The whole car started out orange anodized. Vann Smith, the builder polished and painted the reliefs in the parts with a red metal flake paint. He put some amazing time in polishing and painting. I am just getting it ready to run on the beaches here in San Diego.
