Al,
You're an long time sprint car fan. Check out the pipes on this sprinter. Never seem anything like it in 50 years of watching sprint cars. Man...how noisy would that be, for the driver Lucas Wolfe. I reckon he was gunna need bigger ear plugs!
Must work...he won the 410 Show last Friday night at Williams Grove PA. One has to be real good and quick to win at that track.

The only advantage I could see having the headers in that position is to allow better exhaust flow without having a semi back pressure hitting the tires while keeping the heat off both tires and axle? that or the crew chief was worried about keeping the fumes from hitting the racers behind him :lol:
