new engine needed

i want to get my Jac rabbit going that I have had since I was a kid. I need a new engine where do I start? I know it takes the G2d, but what is the replace ment for this or is there one?

The newer motors will fit but the carb linkage may need to be changed. I don't know this for a fact but I know the carb are a lot different. The other benifit is the newer motors have a lot more power.

Carb linkage on new motors moves left-right as aposed to front rear. It would be nice if you could turn the carb 1/4 turn, does anybody make an adapter? Heard somebody made one for the g62.
