water cooled engines

Post by fastrat »

from what i understand the "Euro" guys are running the marine engines in their cars and using a small oil cooler for the radiator chores. the smalles one ive found so far is....
B&M POLISHED ALUMINUM SUPERCOOLER, 15,000 GVW, 11" x 4-1/2" x 1-1/2". A compact, but highly efficient version of our race cooler. Does not include installation kit. Female 1/2" NPT inlet fittings. Great for limited space or unique mountings.

I had a quickdraw engine before and thought about putting it into a car. I did not know what to use as a waterpump though and I was woried about frying the motor.

Liquid cooling

Post by mattman »

I have thought that using a liquid cooling system for a computer might work for a marine engine application. Something like this,

The extra wieght might only pay off if you used twin cylinder. But wouldn't that be cool. (No pun intended.)
