Ken Hurst V8

Hi all anyone have experience with Ken Hurst Blackwidow V8? Are they bigger than the Conley 609?

Start work machining one . Then we csn see what there like..
There done some cool motors hows the offie and the others on his youtube channel. Vcool..
Thay look bigger then the conolly s but I wouldn't know poopie lol...

Yes I have emailed him but he prefer me to phone him ,,I guess because of different engine options.I will consider buying a cast engine kit and plans. But I will be asking locally for any master hobby machinist who may be able to build for me..

Cool mate all good thingscan be built with time. Wonder iff thay ever got them into a car yet...
Try the train guys up at whiteman park.
An ill ask the bearings guy down herehe use to love macining technical stuff mainlly as his hobby...if he is still kicking on...

Yes looking at them thay look huge. Know of anone installing one into a car. Lots off machining work .

Yeah they measure 15" from fan to flywheel 7.5" across from head to head and 12" high.
Supercharged version claimed to make 10hp.
Would be great in 1/3 scale. Maddog I called a few precision machinist companies about this engine ,they can machine the cast parts in the kit, but will be a lot of work to machine all the little parts needed to complete..The cost is the labour ..will still cost thousands .

Maddog building this engine I believe will be easier to machine/build from scratch of the plans from Bar stock rather than from cast parts .I know a model engine designer and engineer who can tackle this project..
