Just about anything will work. 22-23cc engines are common. 50cc and bigger are desirable.

O'Neil Bros. in Cal has a tricked out 30cc motor that will probably get you where you want to be.

I have been using the CY 460 . @ 4.2 hp @11000 and the ability to rev to 14000 rpm its a powerhouse. $269.00 at Daves Discount Motors.
Ps get the clutch saver springs , they lower the engagement rpm from the 6000 stock springs

Welcome to QSL. I would have to agree with Emilio, the Bob Smith engines are pretty hot. You can fine real nice engine on Dave's Discount Motors as well. Al
