Yankee M15 engine knowledge anyone?

I am in need of any Yankee M15 engine knowledge you have. What fuel does it use? I picked this RC car up with no details of what is was. Sold as seen. Looking on this site I can see its a 1/4 scale Yankee Suzuki Vitara Concept 92 with an M15 engine but that's about the limit of my knowledge. Its been sitting in a garage for many years. The tank has petrol in but I have no idea of what petrol / oil it needs. There is a part right by the carburetter that can turn about half a turn. I think its a choke but I am a newbie with petrol engines. I tried to start it by pulling the cord but no luck. It make noises that sound a bit encouraging but that is it. My father in law is very handy with engines big and small and is keen to help me get this car back to its former glory. If you have any info on the engine that will be much appreciated. Type of fuel to use, things I should check, things I should do before I try to pull the start cord again.
