Conley Supercharger

Has anyone out there attempted to bolt on a supercharger to a single carburetor Conley engine?
I realize that an adapter plate between the supercharger and intake manifold will be necessary.
Gary Conley says that it's possible that extensive machining to the crank may be involved.
I am sending him the engine for evaluation but was wondering if anyone has attempted this before...
