Re: Suggestions Please
Really? Did you realize this is the Holiday weekend?
If you are patient, you may get an answer.... How are you going to learn anything?
I met a engine builder 25 years ago....I am SURE when I first stepped into his shop
he thought I was a complete idiot, (not saying you are) but over the years I
respectfully asked questions about engines. After a while he felt comfortable enough to share all of his knowledge with me, of which I credit him for the motors we had in our race cars.
Our last motor lasted over two years, had over 900 HP and made the 1:1 car run
0 to 60 MPH in LESS than one second. ( it is still running today)
He now has respect for me too for building many race cars that run well and have lasted the test of time.

If you pay the respect these people deserve, they will be happy to help.
Learning the hard way is expensive and very frustrating.

Re: Suggestions Please
he wants it to go faster. i bet.. first off is the motor not too favorable..
does it run good , good rpm's?
mess with carb, and pipe. see where that gets you . if not maybe a new motor., or the rear might not have the right gear ratio..
somewhere to start
