Home built 1/4 scale North East Dirt Modified

Post by Dirt in my beer »

Hello, I'm new to this site but have been a fan of quarterscale for the past 20+ years. Attached are some photos of a Home built 1/4 scale North East Dirt Modified that I scaled down and built some time ago as a challege to myself. I think it turned out pretty well. It's been in storage afew years now and needs to be cleaned up abit to make it shine, I'll post those pix in future posts.
Regards,

Why hasn't anyone replied on this? I have never seen this thread and I'm guessing this is the case for most, or is there other reasons? Surely this is an interesting build? Anyone know anything about it?

It is absolutely beautiful, I wish I could get a closer look, I'm drooling over the chassis and wheels.Big have you ever thought of doing 1/2 scale?

I cut out the photos from the pdf to save time. Now we need to know where the car is and how it's doing?

What's to think about Big, look at that thing! Big how long would something like that take you to build putting in decent hours, Just a rolling chassis no body.

There is a 1/2 scale Modifide similar or almost exact to this one but I bet the 1/4 scale will run circles around the 1/2 scale on a track. From this video the 1/2 scale looks as controllable as riding a fat pig in mud. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... e=emb_logo The nice thing is, His shop is only 2 hours from me.
