Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together.
Re: VW oval beetle 1:4 scale
Is that real rust or have you simulated it somehow? If it's not real, how would you get that look on a fiberglass body?

DAYUUUM Stef,
awesome VW Bug body and details. Somehow I imagine it might be cheaper to build a real thing than the RC-version all things considered. Also to add realism one could put in the OS FF-320 Pegasus 54cc nitro fourstroke boxer four in it and make VW style exhaust (snakepit) and mount it in the rear as it should be. That thing would thus have authentic sound too.
I have one of those engines in my quarterscale Pitts Special and it is a powerful engine and with headers is a real screamer and sounds really good.
This is a video of my plane's maiden flight. I made the exhaust myself.

Re: VW oval beetle 1:4 scale
thanks, i don't have finished my new home/workshop so i can't work on it.
Now I only build complete static cars with it. "RC people" don't like to pay too much fot a bodyshell, so now i prefer to sell to static enthusiast!
i only drive this orange one which was not perfect
