Ferrari 330 P4

Post by rc garage berlin »

I just started my Ferrari 330 P4 Project based on the Yankee body.
I drilled over 1200 holes for the rivets and made a lot of cutouts to keep it as
close to the original as possible.

The Chassis will be a completely new design.

Very nice, it looks great just the way it is, can't imagine when it's complete. Can you show us the rivets and where we can purchase them?

I bought these plastic rivets they normally use for helicopters.
But it is a lot of work. You will find them on http://www.vario-helicopter.biz

You have to weld every single rivet.

Thanks form the link, can't wait to see the chassis. will you be adding some sort of trim on the headlight lens? Also if you haven't yet, contact Yankee, he made a direct fit windshield for the p4.

Thank you Emilio. I already got the Yankee windshield from Laurent. I am realy happy about that. It was very difficult to make the headlight glass by myself...

Today I called the famous Mr. Rolf Luther himself.
He will build a V8 with a direct fit to my PBS gearbox for me till Spring 2017. I am so happy. Now I have to wait...

During my holidays I turned the rims on my lathe but they still have to be milled.
Making rims is a lot of work...

Nice work! Wheels are looking good. Do you have CNC or conventional machines?
