Wow!! I love what you did to the wheels. Is that gold in color? With the right color on the body that's really going to pop. Great job!!!

Thank you. The rims were made of aluminum and I let them anodize...

Yes, those are the Gilmer spun wheel halfs. Is that gold anodized over bead blast? It has that satin finish?

Yes, it is Micro Blasted with glass pearls and gold anodized. The holes are drilled with a 3D printed Template and the wheels are hand painted.

More coming soon...

What do you think about painting the Gilmer black, with golden and red stripes and a red leather seat? Or should I Keep the blue colour just to leave it original?

Personally I think it's quite good looking in blue.

Keep it the royal blue, Jan Gilmer takes as much pride in his colors that go in his gel coat as much as the car itself, purely my opinion.

Black is nice if the gel coat was a generic white or other color which demands final prep & paint, the Gilmers are custom color gel coats which leaves a flawless finish. What is that old saying, "once you go black you'll never go back" Lol

Hello, I would say keep the blue body and go with an off white color out lined with gold pin striping to accent the wheels.
